Thank you for visiting my site, my name is Andrew Gilbert and I am currently in my junior year of college at the University of Central Florida studying photography. In an attempt to give you a little background on myself and the direction of my work I will start by saying that I specialize in outdoor and adventure lifestyle Photo and video. I believe what separates my self from my other talented colleagues is that I am willing to, under any and all conditions, go to the extremes in order to make an image that I am satisfied and proud of. I have been very fortunate to have been mentored by outstanding outdoorsmen and craftsmen at the top of their game (from fly fishing and hiking to photography and film making). They have shown the right and wrong ways to operate and conduct myself. I am not as consumed in the process of making images but more in the people and places in which I tell the story. I really believe that is the only way to fuel the passion that drives my work.
